Dr. Dorothea McCallum, Chiropractor
Dr. Dorothea McCallum is a 1988 graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). Practicing since 1988 in Vancouver, Surrey and Abbotsford (since 2004), she brings a wealth of experience to your care.
Since graduating she has continued learning, taking continuing education courses in all aspects of health. Courses include such topics as whiplash and other motor vehicle accident related injuries, geriatric care, many chiropractic technique and adjusting methods, x-ray and other imaging. She has a particular interest in helping pregnant women, babies and children and is certified in the Webster Technique.
In 2007 Dr. McCallum received her certification through the International Chiropractic Association as a Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner (CCWP). This certification focuses on human wellness from a preventive and support perspective. Based on the wholeness of each person and their inborn ability to function and heal innately, patients learn how to move toward health with everything they do.
Dr. Dorothea has been involved with the chiropractic profession on many levels since before graduating from CMCC. Since graduating she has served on the BC Chiropractic Association Board, Canadian Chiropractic Association Board, BC CMCC Alumni Association and chaired the BC College of Chiropractic Examining Board. Currently she is the BC Governor on the Board at CMCC and a member of the Governor's Club at CMCC.
